A school for children with special needs has been rated outstanding by Ofsted.
Garratt Park School, in Earlsfield, has gone from a rating of ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’ following an inspection, last term, by the education watchdog.
The 180-pupil school, in Waldron Road, caters for pupils aged between 11 and 18 who have moderate learning difficulties, autism and communication needs.
The council’s education spokesman, Councillor Kathy Tracey, said: “This is a superb achievement by all of Garratt Park’s pupils, staff, parents and governors. They should all be very proud of this success.”
