Three fire engines were sent to Wandsworth Prison in the early hours of this morning after a fire broke out in a cell.
A newspaper was set on fire and one inmate was treated, by the prison health team, for smoke inhalation.
The London Fire Brigade were called at 1.30am but the fire had been extinguished by the time they arrived.
