Has Banksy been to Battersea today?

This piece of artwork, referring to the Scottish referendum, was found this morning in Chesney Street, off Battersea Park Road.

The playful piece, in the style of the famous street artist, depicts Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond dressed as William Wallace, as played by Mel Gibson, in the 1995 film Braveheart.

It also features the caption: "Och aye the No."

Earlier this year, a suspected Banksy painting of disgraced celebrity publicist Max Clifford with his pants down appeared on a building in York Road.

It was later confirmed the painting, which was covered up, was the work of another street artist.
