A police car in Keevil Drive this morning
A dead body has been found in a flat in Southfields.
The police were called to a bad smell coming from a flat in Keevil Drive and forced the door open.
They found what is believed to be a lifeless body.
A witness reported seeing lots of police in the street.
A police spokesman said they were treating it as non-suspicious and added: “We are dealing with an incident in Keevil Drive at the moment.
“We were called at 8.52am regarding concerns for a person’s safety.”
