Care home residents got to enjoy cider, nibbles and a visit from some farmyard animals.
Ashmead Care Home, in Putney, welcomed furry guests from Millers Farm on Tuesday, September 30.
One of the female guests said the visit took her back to when she had been a little girl during the war and she was taken to a farm in Cornwall to escape the war.
Councillor Richard Field, deputy mayor of Wandsworth, also attended the event and was taken on a tour around the home’s newly decorated unit.
