Tickets for the Battersea Park fireworks display are on sale.

Wandsworth Times:

This year’s event, on Saturday, November 8, promises to be the best yet, featuring a show by choreographed fire dancers.

The popular event was attended by 42,000 people last year and you have to buy tickets in advance because they will not be available on the gate.

A food court and bar will offer refreshments through the evening.

Wandsworth’s culture spokesman, Councillor Jonathan Cook, said: "This year’s event promises to be better than ever, with extra entertainment and the promise of a spectacular firework display.

"The display is usually a sell-out so I would advise anyone who wants to go to avoid disappointment by buying their ticket as soon as possible."

Between October 1 and October 31 tickets cost £6.50 each. From November 1 to November 7 they are £8. On November 8 they are £10. Booking fees apply.

The gate, bar and foot court open at 6pm. The pre-show starts at 6.30pm, the bonfire starts at 7.30pm and the fireworks are due to start at 8pm. There will be no admittance to the park after 8pm.
