Musical star Michael Ball visited the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney.
On Wednesday, November 26, the Love Changes Everything singer met patients and learnt about the hospital’s work ahead of his appearance at the Christmas concert.
Ball got to see the hospital’s art room and joined patients in renditions of Phantom of the Opera and The Sound of Music’s Edelweiss.
He said: "It is an honour to be asked to sing at the RHN’s Christmas carol concert, and to have been invited to this wonderful hospital to experience first-hand the impact it makes on people’s lives."
Ball will perform at Carols for the RHN on Thursday, December 11, at Holy Trinity Church, Putney, alongside the London Chorus, soloist Jocelyn Somerville and Putney High School Choir.
The event aims to raise £10,000 for music therapy services at the hospital.
