There was a "huge" turnout at a public meeting to discuss Crossrail 2 and changes to Springfield Hospital.
The event on Monday, January 12, at the Central London Golf Centre in Burntwood Lane, was organised by Dan Watkins, Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Tooting.
He said: "If it goes ahead, Crossrail 2 will bring better transport links and economic benefit to Tooting and Battersea, but residents are rightly concerned about the disruption and possible loss of green space that construction work would entail."
He has set up an information page on Crossrail 2. For more information visit danwatkins.org.uk/news/crossrail-2-what-it-means-tooting.
The consultation on the Springfield Hospital planning application has been extended to January 26.
