Princess Anne visited a care home to unveil a plaque commemorating the lives of three WWII female agents.
Royal welcome: Princess Anne is 11th in line to the throne
The Queen’s daughter unveiled a plaque dedicated to French Special Operations Executive (SOE) agents Andrée Borrel, Denise Bloch and Madeleine Damerment.
The three women were identified and interrogated at 101 Nightingale Lane, during WWII.
Now the site is part of Nightingale House, a care home for older members of the Jewish community.
Nightingale House is one of the sites where the SOE debriefed and trained up operatives during WWII.

Escorted by the Lord Lieutenant, Princess Royal met Nightingale Residents, the mayor of Wandsworth and Lieutenant Colonel Roger Blundell chairman of the Special Forces Club on Wednesday, February 11.
