Six people were taken to hospital after two cars were involved in a crash this morning.

Fire engines and three ambulance crews were called to the crash at about 8.30am on Tuesday, February 24.

A firefighter said two cars were involved in the crash in Danebury Avenue, Roehampton, and all six people were out of the vehicles before they arrived.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We treated six patients in total. We treated a man reported to be in his twenties for neck and back pain.

"He was taken as a priority to the major trauma centre in St George's Hospital, Tooting."

Another person was treated for back pain and four people had minor injuries. All were taken to St George's Hospital.
