A man arrested by Kingston police after a car crash in Surbiton has been charged with a separate case of smashing into a Mini in nearby Ewell.

Glody Salumu, of Manville Road, Balham, 22, denied charges of criminal damage and dangerous driving when he appeared in Guildford Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The charges related to an incident on July 19 when he is alleged to have driven into a Mini in the Watersedge Estate.

He was arrested by Kingston police after a crash outside Millbank House, the police’s office in Surbiton, on Monday, August 8.
