A signal failure at London Waterloo has caused severe disruption to services across south London, including cancellations and delays of up to 20 minutes on busy commuter lines.

Trains from London Waterloo to Hampton Court will be cancelled in both directions, but the service will resume from the 9.23am train from Hampton Court and 8.36am from London Waterloo.

Trains will not stop at Berrylands en route to Waterloo, and will be back in service from 9.31am.

If you are at this station and need to travel to London Waterloo, South West Trains advised using trains from Surbiton.

Waterloo to Guildford trains will make extra stops and New Malden and Berrylands. The last train to do this will be the 8.33am from Waterloo.

A replacement bus service is running between Hampton Court and Surbition until 10am.
