Wandsworth Bridge: A woman was prevented from jumping by a member of the public
A woman's life was saved by a member of the public who prevented her from jumping from a bridge, Wandsworth Police said.
According to the force's twitter account the person's "brave" actions were crucial, as police were still en route.
Traffic was disrupted on Wandsworth Bridge Road due to the incident but the female is now safe and well and traffic has returned to normal.
