A person has died after being hit by a train at Whitton.
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesman said: "We were called at 8.08am to Whitton station to reports of an incident.
"We sent our hazardous area response team, duty manager and single responder in a car to the scene.
"Sadly, a patient died at the scene."
Emergency services and South West Train staff are dealing with the incident.
Trains running through stations between Twickenham and Feltham may be cancelled, delayed or changed unexpectedly because of this.
Disruption is expected until about midday.
Tickets may be used on London Buses and London Underground via any reasonable route.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "We were called to Whitton station at 8.03am on Tuesday, September 1, following a report of a person struck by a train.
"BTP officers attended, alongside colleagues from LAS.
"A person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are currently working to identify the deceased and inform their family.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
