FESTIVAL – The Radio Times Festival at Hampton Court Palace from until Sunday

The listings magazine’s first festival continues apace at the palace with something for all the family, including Thomas the Tank Engine, the BFI’s ultimate quiz with Richard Osman and Paul Hollywood. THEATRE – The Wars of the Roses at The Rose Theatre, Kingston

The theatre’s mightily impressive season of three of Shakespeare’s historical plays, all set during the War of the Roses and all directed by theatre god Sir Trevor Nunn, continues.  As the run progresses, it’s possible to see all three plays on the same day or consecutive nights. KIDS – Pirate themed singalong at The Rose Theatre, Kingston, at 10am, 11.30am and 1pm on Sunday

Join multi instrumentalist Una for a session of fun, learning and singing for children aged three months to five years. There’s not just music but themed props and toys, dressing up and stories. The show lasts around 45 minutes and costs £5. Go to rosetheatrekingston.org

TOUR – Historical Tour of Kingston from 11am in Sunday
