Battersea Park is expected to be buzzing with punters this weekend as The Battersea Fair celebrates its 30th birthday.

Wandsworth Times:

Interior designers and stylish buyers should be able to snap up good value, quirky pieces from more than 140 dealers at The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair which runs until October 4.

Setting this fair apart from the others are the creative displays of rare and unconventional objects, collector’s items and decorative and fine antique furniture.

This family-run event is free from corporate formalities, making it a creative and dynamic six days.

Testifying to the fair’s success is the number of celebrities, retail traders and interior decorators from around the world that have visited in recent years – Gwyneth Paltrow and Eddie Redmayne as well as Anthropologie and Stella McCartney have graced the marquee on Battersea Park.

Exhibitor, Ashley Gray said: "The energy here is unique".

If you can’t make it this weekend there is another Winter Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair in January, 19-24, at Battersea Park. Admission £10.
