TEDx has released the Wandsworth line up of local organisations that will be speaking at South Thames College on November 14.

The one day event will bring communities, organisations and individuals together to spark conversation through TED-like experiences.

The line-up will be led by today’s leading thinkers and doers among charities, social enterprises and companies promoting #TEDxBetheChange.

Founder and spokesperson of SW18 Club, Hannah Reidy is among the line up. The organisation help young people combat mental health issues.

In an interview with TEDx, Reidy said she will be “relating things directly to people’s experiences."

Organiser of the event, Amman Abid said: “We believe our speakers represent people who are at the forefront of being the change in their organisation.

"One thought, one insight from a speaker can create the spark, the catalyst for change. And that is what TEDx is all about - spreading great ideas.”

Tickets are now sold out but hopefuls do have the chance to win free tickets in a running mobile video competition. Entrants can tweet examples of how they or their organisation actively represent or have triumphed over adversity by using the hashtag #TEDxBeTheChange to @TEDxWandsworth.
