Pampered pooches will form a guard of honour to welcome star-studded guests at this year’s Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Gala Ball next week.

The 7th annual Collars and Coats Gala Ball, held in in aid of the animal refuge will take place at Evolution, Battersea Park, on Thursday, November 12.

Charity ambassadors Paul O’Grady MBE, David Gandy, Dame Jacqueline Wilson OBE and Amanda Holden will join 40 of Battersea’s success stories - dogs who have had their lives turned around and been given new homes.

Other stars attending the glitzy event include Sue Barker, Danielle Lineker, Dr Christian Jessen, Abbey Clancy and Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix.

The gala aims to help Battersea transform even more lives and give hope to thousands of dogs and cats every year.

The night will include performances from burlesque troupe Crazy Rouge, classical artist Camilla Kerslake and singer-songwriter Bryan Ferry.

Guests will enjoy fine dining, musical entertainment and a chance to win ‘money can’t buy’ auction prizes.
