Comedian Hugh Dennis found himself outnumbered by enterprising pupils at Westbridge Primary School in Battersea when he visited to hear their business pitches.

Pupils have been working on a range of products to sell at the school's winter fair in December, from bangles to hot chocolate, and sweets to eco jars.

The Mock the Week star stopped in to watch the pupils give their Dragon's Den style pitches.

Annette Elstob, assistant headteacher, said: "We started working with a company called Stepping into Business, which provides teaching materials for an enterprise event.

"They have also arranged talks with four entrepreneurs.

"Hugh gave each class feedback and a little talk and supported them.

"He was really interested in the projects for a programme or documentary and specifically picked Westbridge."
