Families, stallholders and shoppers turned out on Tuesday night to see the Tooting Market Christmas lights switched on by Absolute Radio's breakfast show host.
Christian O'Connell and Richie Firth visited the market on November 17 to host the light switch-on and entertain the crowds.
Roi Mengelgrein, Tooting market manager, said: "It was fantastic for the community, it brought smiles to everyone's faces, from traders and businesses to residents and the public.
"It was tremendous PR for Tooting market and Tooting in general.
"We are delighted and thankful that they chose us.
"Absolute Radio could have gone anywhere else and they chose Tooting market, so we were the lucky ones."
