A police motorcyclist has been knocked off his vehicle by a car while part of a VIP convoy through Wandsworth.
The Met confirmed the officer's injuries were not life-threatening.
The crash happened on Trinity Road, and there are delays in the vicinity.
A witness at the scene said the bike had a "near-miss" with a digger on a nearby building site.
Thomas Cox, a freelance journalist, said: "The police bike hit the front of the grey taxi van and ended up in an adjacent garden.
"Here a man was operating a digger.
"The police said the man digging had had a 'lucky escape'."

Police declined to say who the VIP in the car was.
But Prince William was at the nearby Royal Marsden in Sutton earlier today and Clarence House would not comment on whether or not the convoy was for the Prince.
