Update: Sadiq Khan's office has apologised for the incorrect dates supplied in the original article.
The extra meetings were in fact held in the market on November 25 and 26.
There will be no Crossrail 2 representatives on December 2 and 3.
Extra meetings on Crossrail 2 will be held in Tooting Broadway after concerns were raised about the lack of forums in the town during the consultation period.
With residents divided and concerned about the station moving from Tooting Broadway to Balham, Sadiq Khan, MP for Tooting, stepped in to persuade Transport for London to add extra meetings to the list.
He said: "This consultation must be as open as inclusive as possible, to make sure local people get to have their say.
"That means giving residents ample opportunity to gain more information and have their questions answered.
"I welcome TfL’s announcement that more drop-in meetings are to be held - in Tooting Broadway Market - and would encourage my constituents to make sure to go along."
The meetings will be held between 12-5pm on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3 in Tooting Market.
