Sundance’s London Film Festival is returning this summer after missing 2015.
Previously hosted at the O2 from 2012 to 2014, the film festival which gives premieres to lots of cool indie movies will move to Picturehouse Central from June 2 to 5 this year.
Oscar winner Robert Redford founded the non-profit Sundance Institute (named after his Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid character) in 1981 to champion film and theatre artists to thrive.
He started Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City in 1985 and it has gained a reputation for giving a big break to film makers such as Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino, David O Russell, Steven Soderbergh and movies such as Saw, The Blair Witch Project, Reservoir Dogs, Little Miss Sunshine, Donnie Darko, 500 Days of Summer and Whiplash.
Sundance London has previously attracted the likes of Prince Charles, Michael Fassbender, Gemma Arterton, Ryan Reynolds and the Eagles.
