Patients will march from Tooting Bec station to St George’s Hospital in protest at the planned closure of a women’s health unit.
Groups have already led protests at Wandsworth town hall over services
The hospital suspended services at the urogynaecology department in June when the clinical lead stepped down.

A consultation which proposed to permanently close the service was launched after the announcement, but was extended when Wandsworth Council intervened. Patients of the department will march in protest of the closure on February 6, led by a former director of nursing and a retired head of midwifery.
The pair, Barbara Bohanna and Stephanie Sulaiman have instructed solicitors to apply for a judicial review of the closure of St George’s urogynecology department, claiming the consultation process was deeply flawed, the service is needed and they are not being offered a suitable replacement.
Mrs Bohanna said: “I am shattered at the way in which this whole process has been conducted.”
Their petition has collected 2,500 signatures. The decision is due on March 3 in a board meeting.
The march leaves at 11am.
