December 23: Chelsea restaurant owner admits brandishing fake gun in King's Road

The 31-year-old, of Albert Bridge Road, pleaded guilty on December 22 with possession of an imitation firearm and affray after an incident on August 28.

He was arrested alongside manager Frederick Samengo-Turner, from Oxford, who received the same sentence.

Gladwin was said to have terrified pedestrians walking past Rabbit, his 'wild food' restaurant in Chelsea, when he brandished the gun.

Gladwin told the Evening Standard that he regrets his actions, and the event was the "biggest mistake of his life".

The pair were also given 200 hours each of community service, and ordered to pay fines and costs of £3,120 each.
