Marks and Spencer has opened a foodhall store in Southfields, employed 35 people in Wandsworth.
The store was officially opened on Wednesday, Febraury 3, by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Nicola Nardelli.
Store Manager, Andrew Stable, said: "The Mayor and I were delighted to unveil the new Foodhall in Southfields today, and welcome the first customers into store.
"Marks and Spencer Foodhall Southfields provides customers with a great new shopping experience, a wide selection of quality meat, fish and poultry, and seasonal produce, as well as an in-store bakery.
"We are expecting our Valentine's Day and Easter food and drink ranges to be very popular, and look forward to welcoming local customers over the coming weeks."
Marks and Spencer Foodhall in Wimbledon Park Road will be open Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 10pm, and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
