Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing stabbing of Lewis Elwin in Tooting.

Mr Elwin, 20, was knifed in Penwortham Road at about 3.30pm on Monday, April 18, and staggered toward Thrale Road before collapsing.

He died from a stab wound in his back at the scene shortly after officers arrived.

Two 19-year-old men were arrested, respectively, on suspicion of murder.

The first man was arrested on Monday, May 2 and the second on Tuesday, May 3.

Both have been bailed to return in early August.

On the day of his death, Mr Elwin was dropped off in Moyer Road and called a friend to arrange to meet just after 3.30pm.

He was seen jogging along Penwortham Road towards Thrale Road at 3.40pm before he collapsed.

Independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of Mr Elwin’s murder, and Metropolitan Police detectives are still investigating.
