The Labour candidate for Tooting in the June by-election has responded to remarks by opposition party members that she does not live in the constituency.
Rosena Allin-Khan gave her address for the register as a Balham address that comes under Jane Ellison's Battersea constituency, but said she has been planning to move since before the by-election was announced.
It's good to have a candidate who lives in #Tooting. @NightingaleSMcD @ToniaDunn @clescott1 @MNWandsworth https://t.co/3b5pO2XIXP

She said: "I am already moving to the constituency, I live three roads over the border.
"I spend most of my time either looking after my dad in Furzedown, with my mum in Tooting Bec or in St George's, where I work."
She said she would be moving on June 9.
