An inquest into the death of a political activist who alleged he was bullied by a former Tooting parliamentary candidate will begin this week.
Elliot Johnson’s body was found on railway tracks in Bedfordshire last year.
The 21-year-old had left behind three letters which said that former Conservative candidate for Tooting Mark Clarke had bullied him and that political journalist Andre Walker had betrayed him.
Both Mr Clarke and Mr Walker deny the accusations.
The inquest will take place at Ampthill Coroner’s Court on Tuesday, eight months after Mr Johnson’s death.
The Conservative Party has appointed law firm Clifford Chance to run an inquiry into the allegations of bullying, reports the Guardian.
