Wandsworth council is giving out 2,000 free Formula E tickets for the Battersea final.

The tickets are to be allocated to residents living near Battersea Park with further tickets being distributed to schools, charities and amenity groups in the area.

Around 60,000 spectators are expected to attend the electric car street races on the July 2 and 3 which represents the climax of the Formula E championship after races in Berlin, Beijing, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Paris, and California.

The race will be the last Formula E fixture to be hosted in Battersea Park after the organisers announced they are looking to move a central London street circuit for future events.
