There will be amended Sunday services across the South West, Southern and Thameslink networks today (Sunday, July 3) because of planned engineering works.

Station improvement works are taking place between Richmond and Strawberry Hill, with buses replacing services between: 

  • Richmond and Hounslow
  • Richmond and Teddington
  • Virginia Water and Woking

Trains between London Waterloo and Reading / Windsor and Eton Riverside are diverted via Brentford.

A reduced service will run between London Waterloo and Kingston.

Trains between London Waterloo and London Waterloo via Kingston will start from Shepperton.

Trains between London Waterloo and Woking via Feltham will divert to terminate at Ascot.

On the Southern network, buses will replace trains between:

  • Tulse Hill and Sutton via Mitcham Junction.

On the Thameslink service, there are no trains between:

Passengers may use local buses to complete their journey to and from Streatham, Tooting and Haydons Road.

Trains are unable to run between Tulse Hill and Sutton via Mitcham. Trains will be diverted via an alternative route running non-stop to Sutton.

Passengers can use replacement buses between Tulse Hill and Streatham.

Thameslink services are also affected between Bedford and East Croydon.

Amended services will run all day between Bedford and Brighton.

In Kingston, buses will replace trains between:

Trains between London Waterloo and Guildford via Leatherhead are diverted to Dorking.

Buses will operate between Leatherhead and Guildford.

Buses are also replacing trains between Surbiton and Guildford via Effingham Junction.

On the London Overground, buses replace trains between Richmond and Willesden Junction.

Passengers are advised to check journeys before they travel.
