Tens of thousands of motor racing fans packed into Battersea Park over the weekend for the final event of the Formula E championship.
The electric car race, which took place over both Saturday and Sunday, was held on the Battersea Park course for the last time, with organisers in discussions to have a street race through central London next year.
Battersea Park first hosted the Formula E event championship in 2015 but the event has been a continuous source of controversy.

This year a group of Battersea residents threatened legal action to stop the use of the public park, arguing that it was the wrong London location for Formula E.
Formula E originally planned to also hold the 2017 London race in Battersea Park, but following negotiations with Wandsworth Council has decided to opt for a central London location.
The council is thought to have received £2.85 million from hosting the events, including compensation for the event not being held in 2017, and are already planning to spend £800,000 on creating a new playground, entrance, garden and seating in Battersea Park.
Speaking last week Councillor Jonathan Cook said: “Coupled with the substantial funds we have also received from housing developers near the park, means we are in a position to now move forward with projects we have long wanted to do but simply didn’t have the money for.
“Thanks to this funding, and to a generous donation too from the Friends of Battersea Park, we will be able to deliver a range of improvements that will be enjoyed by visitors for many, many years to come.”
Preparations to have the park ready for the Formula E event began on June 20.
Most of the park was closed to the public from Saturday to Tuesday while the event was taking place and while infrastructure was being removed.
