Thousands of people tried cycling, tennis, korfball, frescoball and more in the borough's seventh annual Get Active festival.

Hosted by Enable Leisure and Sport on behalf of Wandsworth Council, the festival in King George's Park gives people an opportunity to try new sports and activities and encourages them to make healthy lifestyle changes.

Wandsworth Radio hosted an outdoor stage in the park, where there was a climbing wall, a mobile boxing ring, and a fixed wheel cycling challenge.

The council’s leisure spokesman Councillor Jonathan Cook said: "It’s great that  so many local people went along to this event, connecting with local community organisations and finding out about how they could lead healthier and more active lives."
