Police have launched an appeal after a man was stabbed in his neck and chest following a fight near Tooting Broadway station.
The victim was walking past the Londis in Mitcham Road, Tooting, when the suspect barged into him. Following a fight, the victim was stabbed.
He was taken to a hospital in south London, following the fight just before 1am on Saturday, August 20. The 31-year-old man was later discharged after receiving treatment.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, 5ft 5in, and wearing a black hood.
The Metropolitan police released a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that witnesses may come forward.
The force confirmed that no arrests have been made, and its enquiries continue.
