A man and a woman were taken to hospital after a reported double stabbing in Battersea.
Police were called to Queenstown Road just before 6pm on Wednesday.
Officers found a woman with a laceration to her arm and she was taken by ambulance to hospital.
A man found nearby had a cut to his hand. He was arrested and was also taken to hospital for treatment.
A police spokesman said: “At this early stage officers believe that the woman and the man are known to one another and are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.”
