A woman killed in a crash with a lorry in Battersea during morning rush hour was a cyclist, police have said.

Police were called to Lavender Hill just before 8am on Monday (October 24).

London Ambulance Service and London's air ambulance also attended but the injured woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Road closures were put in place as emergency services dealt with the incident.

The driver of the lorry involved in the collision stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
