Piles of overflowing rubbish have been photographed near the entrance to St George’s Hospital.
Damien Gorson took the photographs at 8am this morning on his way to work and described the area around St George’s Hospital as a “slum”.
Around St George looks like a slum, that one right in front of the entrance!! People should be ashamed. @DrRosena @WandBC @tidytooting pic.twitter.com/eIqRD5YLaX

MP for Tooting Dr Rosena Allin-Khan tweeted that the situation was “outrageous”.
She said: “We need to crack down on patrolling and fining as discussed in order to prevent this unacceptable behaviour.”
A Wandsworth council spokesman said: “Anyone with information that could help us track down the person responsible for this or any other flytip is urged to email flytipwitness@wandsworth.gov.uk.
“All correspondence is treated in strict confidence.
“There is absolutely no excuse for flytipping and the minority of people who commit this disgusting offence in Wandsworth can expect to face tough penalties.
“Fines have been increased to £400 and our enforcement team has been expanded to reinforce the council’s zero-tolerance approach.
“More than 1,000 people have been caught and fined this year already.”
