A elderly man who was struck by a car outside a Tube station is in a "serious" condition.
The pedestrian, 81, was hit by the vehicle at around 8pm on Thursday January 25 just outside Tooting Broadway station on Tooting High Street.
London Ambulance Service brought him as a "priority" to a major trauma centre "suffering head injuries".
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "His condition is serious; officers await further assessment."
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
He has not been arrested.
Tooting Broadway was shut in all directions last night but reopened in the early hours of the Friday morning.
All road closures by Tooting Broadway are now open again. Thank you for your patience.
