Hounslow police are appealing for information that would lead to the whereabouts to a woman who has been missing for 10 days.

Xiao Qian Yin, 36, was last seen by her boyfriend on Sunday, February 12 in Tooting when she apparently left to go to Hounslow to work. 

She was in touch until Wednesday, February 15 when all communication ended and she was reported missing six days later on February 21.

Police have described Xiao, a Chinese national, as "vulnerable" and are "very concerned" for her welfare.

Xiao is 5ft 4ins tall of slim build with long, dark shoulder length hair.

She is known to frequent Tooting, Hounslow and Barking areas. 

Detective Sergeant Jamie Hunter of Hounslow CID, said: "Let me assure Xiao, or anyone who knows anything about her whereabouts, that our only concern is her safety and wellbeing.

"We can be contacted in complete confidence and can offer help and support. 

"We are concerned for Xiao's welfare and would ask anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible, so we can ensure that she is safe."
