A road in Vauxhall was closed after debris began to fall from a church roof in the wake of Storm Doris.
Kennington Lane was closed in both directions due to the 'unsafe' church roof.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said no one was hurt by the falling material when the road was closed yesterday just before 5pm.
Storm Doris caused havoc across the country after 94mph winds were recorded, along with snow and travel chaos.
