Drug peddler Mojtab Moradi has been sentenced to four years imprisonment after a jury found him guilty of possessing and dealing a Class A substance.
Moradi, of Brookhill Road, Woolwich, was found guilty of possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, March 3.
Greenwich officers found 46 wraps of the drug after they stopped the 30-year-old in a Nissan Qashqai in Willenhall Road, Greenwich, on September 15, last year.
Police then searched his room where they found a ledger that contained details of his supplies and other drug dealing paraphernalia.
He was charged the following day and was remanded in custody ahead of the trial.
Gavin Russell, detective constable from Greenwich police’s gangs unit, said: "This is a significant sentence of imprisonment for intent to supply Class A drugs that would have inevitably caused misery to its intended recipients and caused harm to the community by way of anti-social behaviour.
"This latest conviction should act as a deterrent to others involved in the supply of drugs. Officers from the gangs unit in Greenwich have arrested a significant number of drug dealers in the past year, I want to assure the residents of Greenwich it will not be our last."
