A busy road in central Croydon will close for 10 days next month due to tram track repairs.
Wellesley Road will shut southbound between Station Road and George Road from 12.01am on Saturday, April 8, to 5am on Tuesday, April 18.
The closure is for ‘essential maintenance’ of the road along Wellesley Road, according to Transport for London (TfL).
TfL added the works will take place over the Easter break as there is less traffic at that time.
