The Halifax bank in Teddington was robbed at gunpoint by a balaclava-clad suspect, who then raced off with the cash on a mountain bike in broad daylight.

At 2.30pm on Friday, March 10 the man entered the Broad Street bank and produced a gun, demanding money from the bank’s staff.

Metropolitan Police said a “quantity of cash” was stolen and no-one was hurt in the robbery.

No arrests have been made and officers have appealed for information about the robbery or the suspect.

The suspect is a white, skinny, 6ft tall man who was wearing a blue jacket and gloves at the time of the robbery.
