A car flipped on to its roof near Nonsuch Girls High School for Girls in Cheam early this morning (Wednesday, March 29).
Emergency services were called to the incident in Ewell Road, at the junction of Robert’s Close, at about 12.25 am.
The driver was not injured in the incident.
An image of the overturned car was posted on Twitter along with a plea for the installation of speed cameras in the road.
The person who posted the image, artist Nella Alao, tweeted: “He is lucky to be alive. This road should have speed cameras” and called for motorists to respect the 30-mile speed limit in the area.
