Paramedics have treated a pedestrian following a collision in Benhilton.
The individual was taken to a south London hospital in an ambulance after they were hit by a car in Kendal Gardens, near Rosehill Recreation Ground, at about 3.38pm on Thursday, April 6.
Officers and a police helicopter were also called to the scene shortly afterwards.
The pedestrian’s condition is not known at this time.
Marilyn Walker, 53, who lives near Kendal Gardens, said: “I saw a police helicopter on our way into Sutton and we saw about five ambulances there.
“It did not seem to stop traffic at the time and the helicopter has taken off now.”
