A banned GP has been temporarily suspended after he was caught falsifying patient documents during a newspaper sting.
Dr Ashraful Mirza was working as a GP at Fraccini House Surgery in Middleton Road before being told he would be suspended for six months at an interim tribunal meeting on Tuesday, April 4.
His suspension came after the Sun newspaper launched an investigation in October.
The former GP was caught on camera fabricating medical information on an application form by an undercover reporter who posed as an Uber driver.
Dr Mirza had been previously suspended for six months in October and will sit in on another tribunal meeting, which is expected to take place in the autumn.
Faccini House Surgery offers several private services, which include insurance reports and medicals, pre-employment, driving licence applications and passport applications.
The practice is also the location of the UK Circumcision Clinic where men of all ages can have private circumcision surgery.
Dr Mirza has been prohibited from providing any of these services.
A member of staff at the surgery said they would not provide a comment.
