Motorists in Wandsworth can avail of free parking on the Easter bank holidays.
There is no need to buy a pay and display ticket, pay-by-phone or display a parking permit if using marked parking bays on Good Friday or Easter Monday.
Drivers should not park on yellow lines or dropped curbs as the latter would block the path for people using mobility scooters, wheelchairs or pushchairs.
It will be necessary to buy a pay and display ticket or pay-by-phone in the car parks in Battersea Park and in Burr Road, adjacent to King George’s Park, on the two bank holidays and there will be no free parking available.
Normal rules will apply in residential areas where motorists need to have a valid parking permit and the usual on-street parking rules will be in force on Saturday and on Easter Sunday.
