A fire that broke out in a fast-food restaurant in Mitcham Road, Tooting, is now under control.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “We were called to a fire in a café in Mitcham Road at 11.28am.
"The fire was under control at 12.44.
"It is thought to have orgininated in the kitchen.10 per cent of the ground floor is damaged."
Two fire engines attended, one from Tooting and one from Battersea.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 11:32 today (May 16) to reports of a fire in Mitcham Road, in Wandsworth.
"We sent an ambulance crew and our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to the scene. The first ambulance arrived in less than five minutes.
"We treated one patient at the scene."
Road closures are no longer in place. Mitcham Road was closed from Tooting High Street to Vant Road and Charlmont road, including all junctions in between.
