A woman who was trapped in a car after a crash with a motorcyle on the A3 West Hill has "been removed".

The incident, between a woman in a car and a man on a motorbike, happened near the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability near the junction with Beaumont Road. 

According to the Met Police, the man's injuries are "not life-threatening" but the extent of the woman's are unknown. 

A London Ambulance Spokesperson said:

"We were called at 4:39pm on Tuesday May 16 to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on West Hill.

"We sent two ambulance crews to the scene

"We treated two patients at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre in south London." 

All road closures have now been lifted. 

London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and the Met Police attended. 

At around 5.50pm, a spokesperson for LFB said: "One adult female, around 30 years of age, is trapped in a car. She is conscious and breathing.

"An adult male has been removed from the scene suffering neck injuries. He is also conscious and breathing."

The A3 West Hill and the A219 Wood Lane was closed at the junction with A40 Westway but have since reopened.
