Police are appealing for help from the public to trace a man who has escaped from hospital where he was brought following his arrest.
Evangelos Papameletiou, 27, was last seen at around 3.45pm on Friday, May 19, at Tolworth Hospital in Surbiton.
He was at the hospital for a mental health assessment after being arrested earlier that day for assault.
Papameletiou is a Greek male, around 5ft 8ins, tall, of average build with short dark hair and bushy eyebrows. He speaks with a Greek accent.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded top, blue jeans, a dark coloured coat and black trainers.
Officers are concerned for his welfare and advise the public not to approach Papameletiou.
